Great game for all ages5

I felt that I should chime in to counter the negative review previously posted. My children (ages 5, 8, and 12) all love this game. Our 5-year old regularly beats her older siblings and adults, so Pictureka is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone. In fact, our 3-year old even likes to join in the fun (though she teams up with an older player). I highly recommend the game, especially for families with children in a wide age range.

One of the three card types does involve bidding to see who thinks they can find the most of an item - the person with the highest bid has to try to find that many. There is a flaw in that there is no disincentive to bid a very high number just to prevent anyone else from trying. My family worked around this with a simple rule modification - if a person doesn't find the number they bid then they lose their next turn and can't bid again (if that card type is drawn) until their turn has been skipped. The fact that this isn't written in the original rules shouldn't prevent anyone from enjoying the game.

My kids love it!4

It seems that this game is either really enjoyed or not by people. Personally, my family has a lot of fun with it. My kids (ages 7 and 9) think it's great fun and they always want to keep playing once the game is over. They love that their young eyes can find things faster than mom & dad's. I've played with lots of nieces and nephews and they've all enjoyed this game!

Poop? Really?4

Ok, so the game is fun. I was a little disappointed, for the regular price, that the quality was not a bit better than it is. That said, I snagged this for half price on Black Friday, so I guess it was worth that much.

It's fun enough. When we play, we do enjoy ourselves. My primary beef with the game is the 'artwork'. I can deal with all the weird creatures and such, but my complaint is the gross/vulgar factor. Piles of poop, swirling with flies; creatures passing gas (yes, from the rear); smelly feet - really, Hasbro? Was all that necessary?

I realize some people (and children) might find this hilarious, but in our family, we just found it unnecessarily gross and vulgar. It didn't need that to be fun. So, I'd just throw that out as a heads-up to other families who might be unhappy to find these themes in a child's game.
